Kathmandu, April 14 -- 19 secured their second consecutive victory in the ACC U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifiers with a dominant eight-wicket win over Oman Under-19 at the Mulpani Cricket Ground on Monday.
Chasing a modest target of 118, Nepal cruised to victory in just 14.3 overs, with a blistering 85-run partnership between Sahil Patel and Niraj Yadav. Niraj top-scored with 46 off 31 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes, while Sahil made 44 off 42 deliveries, including three boundaries and a six.
Captain Naren Bhatta added a quickfire 12 off 9 balls with two fours, and Santosh Yadav sealed the win with an unbeaten 10 from just 5 deliveries, also hitting two boundaries.
