Kathmandu, Jan. 30 -- Indu Barma, captain of Nepal women's cricket team, was on the striker's end during the fourth ball of the seventh over by Scotland's Abtaha Maqsood during their respective last group-stage match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier at the TU International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, on January 26.
Barma missed the ball as she came a bit ahead with her front foot. And to survive stumping, she attempted a big leap with her back foot towards the crease. However, her balance was not good.
As the bails went off and Barma reached behind the line, she looked hurt. The bat fell out of her hands, and she rolled over. While a check from the third umpire ensured Barma survived stumping, she could not continu...
