Kathmandu, Oct. 15 -- Nepal have qualified for the 2026 T20 World Cup after results went in their favour at the Asia & East Asia Pacific (EAP) Qualifier being held in Al Amerat, Oman, on Wednesday.

Both Nepal and the hosts Oman confirmed their berths for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup ahead of their Super 6 clash scheduled for later on Wednesday evening.

Earlier in the day, Qatar defeated Japan by three wickets, while the UAE thrashed Samoa by 77 runs in the second match-a result that ensured Nepal and Oman became the next two teams to seal their tickets to the global event.
