Kathmandu, Aug. 25 -- Nepal endured another disappointing outing in age-group women's football on Sunday, going down 3-0 to Bangladesh in the U-17 Women's SAFF Championship in Thimphu, Bhutan. The loss has further dented Nepal's standing in the tournament.
The championship follows a double round-robin format. Sunday's defeat was Nepal's second in three matches, leaving their title hopes in doubt. They lost 7-0 to India in their opening game and narrowly defeated Bhutan in their second match.
