Kathmandu, Dec. 7 -- Germany and Nepal on Friday marked 50 years of technical cooperation, bringing together government officials, development partners, and collaborators at the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit premises in Khumaltar.
The event, themed "Woven Through Time, Shaping Tomorrow Together", highlighted milestones from Bhaktapur's heritage preservation in the 1970s to current initiatives in energy, health, and sustainable economic development.
The partnership has expanded over the decades to include GIZ, KfW Development Bank, and PTB, each contributing expertise in technical cooperation, financial support, and quality assurance across sectors, the organisation said.
