Kathmandu, Feb. 15 -- Nepal have been knocked out of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup after suffering a third consecutive defeat in Group C, ending their hopes of reaching the Super Eight.
The elimination was confirmed on Sunday after Nepal lost to the West Indies by nine wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. With three losses from as many matches, Nepal cannot progress to the next stage even if they win their final fixture against Scotland.
Nepal had earlier suffered a four-run defeat against England in a closely contested match. They were then beaten by Italy by ten wickets in their second outing. The latest loss to West Indies sealed their exit from the tournament.
