Kathmandu, April 12 -- Nepal take on Singapore in the first match of their ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifier in a bid to secure the eighth appearance in the age-group cricket's global showpiece.

In a six-team tournament where only the winners after the round robin league will qualify for the 2020 U-19 World Cup in South Africa, Nepal will look to make a positive start before meeting four other teams - two of them complete unknown opponents in Kuwait and Oman. The United Arab Emirates and Malaysia are the two other teams in the event.
