Nepal, Jan. 3 -- Ncell has expanded and strengthened its 4G network across the country by bringing 250 new towers into operation and upgrading the capacity of 2,200 existing sites over the past year, the company said on Thursday.

The expansion is aimed at improving voice quality and delivering faster, more reliable data services at a time when mobile connectivity has become essential for safety, education, business and staying connected with family members, Ncell said in a statement.

The new towers were installed and activated across local units and micro markets in all seven provinces, with a primary focus on Madhesh, Lumbini, Koshi and Bagmati provinces to enhance 4G coverage and expand services.
