Nepal, Aug. 5 -- On August 3, 2025, Sydneysiders made Australia proud on a global stage. Some hundred thousand people spontaneously marched on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of the most important icons in the country, demanding an end to the brutal genocide and ethnic cleansing being carried out by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza. One of the largest anti-war protests in Australia, the demonstration was triggered by the images of emaciated bodies of young children, as they bear the brunt of a famine orchestrated by the Netanyahu government.
