Kathmandu, Nov. 22 -- Lumbini Lions posted a target of 157 runs for Karnali Yaks in their Nepal Premier League fixture on Saturday after putting up 156-8 in the allotted 20 overs at the TU International Cricket Stadium, Kirtipur.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Lumbini were anchored by captain Rohit Kumar Paudel, who struck a composed 49 off 43 balls, hitting four fours and two sixes. JJ Smit added a brisk 23 off 14 with two fours and a six, while D'Arcy Short contributed 19 off 13, including four boundaries.

Lower down the order, Ruben Trumpelmann provided much-needed acceleration, smashing 29 with three sixes and a four, as Sher Malla remained unbeaten on 7.
