Doti, June 9 -- Four people were injured in a leopard attack at Rokaya Bada in ward 6 of Sayal Rural Municipality in Doti district on Sunday evening.
According to the District Police Office, Doti, the leopard entered the village around 4:30pm and attacked 30-year-old Pashupati Katuwal, 50-year-old Khadka Rokaya, 45-year-old Kalu Rokaya, and 13-year-old Srijana Rokaya.
The leopard also injured livestock, including a cow, an ox belonging to Kalawati Rokaya, and another ox owned by Prem Rokaya. Additionally, two goats belonging to Prem Katuwal have gone missing.
Locals said the leopard emerged from a nearby forest and attacked the grazing animals before entering the settlement and attacking residents.
