Jumla, Sept. 18 -- Traffic on the Karnali Highway in Jumla has been disrupted after a large boulder fell onto the road in ward 4 of Tila Rural Municipality at around 8am on Thursday.
The road division office in Jumla said that while motorcycles and smaller vehicles can still pass, larger vehicles are unable to move. Chief Engineer Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary said the stretch from Raralihi to Nagma is at high risk of landslides.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabin Babu Regmi of the District Police Office, Jumla, said smaller rocks have been cleared by police, but the large boulder requires a bulldozer.
