Kathmandu, Aug. 10 -- The Department of Language and Mass Communication at Kathmandu University is set to introduce short-term Sanskrit language courses soon.
The announcement was made at the event organised by Jarokilo Pratishthan in collaboration with Kathmandu University's Department of Language and Mass Communication, Valmiki Vidyapeeth, the Department of Philosophy at Tri-Chandra College, and other partner institutions.
On the occasion, eminent Sanskrit scholar and researcher Prof Rishiram Pokharel was felicitated. Pokharel remarked that the past, present, and future of Eastern civilisation are deeply embedded in the Sanskrit language.
