Electing to bat first, Karnali began the innings cautiously as Mark Watt fell early, run out for 6 in the third over, leaving Karnali at 23 for 1. Priyank Panchal anchored the innings, striking 63 runs off 47 balls, including six boundaries and two sixes, before being run out in the 16th over.
