Kathmandu, April 20 -- Indian Minister for Power Manohar Lal Khattar is scheduled to visit Nepal on a two-day official trip starting Tuesday.
The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation said Khattar is visiting Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Deepak Khadka. The invitation was extended during Khadka's visit to India in February last year.
Khattar and Khadka will jointly inaugurate the 220kv Inaruwa-Basantpur-Baneshwar-Tumlingtar transmission line and substations in Tumlingtar, Baneshwar and Basantpur on Tuesday. The infrastructure has been constructed with Indian assistance. The inauguration will be held at the Tumlingtar substation in Sankhuwasabha district.
