Kathmandu, June 3 -- The House of Representatives meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed until 1 pm on Wednesday following a continued deadlock in Parliament. The session was initially slated for 11 am but was later delayed to 2 pm before being postponed for tomorrow.

The disruption stems from opposition demands for the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the alleged involvement of officials close to him in human trafficking via visit visas.

The opposition parties maintain that employees from the minister's secretariat were complicit in exploiting Nepali citizens travelling abroad through Tribhuvan International Airport.
