Kathmandu, June 6 -- The meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for Friday was postponed, as opposition parties remained adamant on obstructing the proceedings over the visit visa scam.
A notice from the Parliament Secretariat said the next meeting will be held at 1pm on Sunday. The meeting had been called for 1pm Friday but was deferred before it began.
This is the latest in a series of adjournments. Thursday's session was initially pushed from 1pm to 3:30pm, but only began at around 5pm and was immediately disrupted by opposition protests.
