Kathmandu, May 26 -- The government has said it is not in a position to implement the Nepal Teachers' Federation demands that add burden to the state coffers.
Appearing before the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives on Sunday, Education Minister Raghuji Pant said the government is fully committed to implementing only the nine-point agreement reached on April 30.
"We are not economically and financially strong to execute earlier agreements and further burden the state coffers. There is no point making commitments in the issues that cannot be implemented," he said.
