Kathmandu, March 19 -- The government declared April 6 a public holiday on the occasion of Ramnavami.

The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting on Monday, said Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, who is also the government's spokesperson, while making public the decisions on Wednesday.

The meeting also decided to present the government's fiscal year 2023-2024 annual report to the President, in line with Article 53 of the Constitution of Nepal and Section 41 of the Good Governance (Management and Operation) Act.
