Kathmandu, Nov. 2 -- Police have arrested a fugitive who escaped during the recent Gen Z protests in early September, recovering a weapon looted from a police office.

According to the Central Intelligence Bureau of Nepal Police, a gas gun marked "972 WK 68301 032189" was found inside a black bag placed on a plastic chair outside Solukhumbu Khaja Ghar, operated by Prabin Ghimire, at Lahure Tole, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-7, on October 30 evening.

Following investigations based on confidential information, police discovered that the bag had been kept there by 22-year-old Wangsu Lama, also known as Raja Tamang, originally from Mahabharat Rural Municipality-1, Kavrepalanchok, and currently residing in Gokarneshwar Municipality-3, Kathmand...
