Dolpa, July 29 -- Four people trapped by rising waters of the Thuli Bheri river in Dhupichaur, ward 3 of Thulibheri Municipality, were rescued on Tuesday morning.
They had gone to collect firewood brought downstream by the swollen river when they were stranded between two strong currents. A joint rescue team comprising Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Army carried out the operation.
The rescued individuals have been identified as Lalit Bohara, 33; Nandaprasad Bohara, 26; Shyamlal Bohara, 37; and Lalkumar Budha, 35-all from Palang village in ward 6 of Tripurasundari Municipality.
