Baitadi, Oct. 18 -- Four people, including a pregnant woman, were injured in an auto rickshaw accident in Baitadi on Friday afternoon.

The accident occurred near Khochlekh in ward 3 of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality when the rickshaw lost control and plunged 100 meters off the road, according to the police.

According to the District Police Office, Baitadi, the auto rickshaw was heading to Khochlekh from Sillegadh when the accident took place.

The injured have been identified as 25-year-old Parbati Joshi and 45-year-old Basanti Joshi from Dogadakedar-2 and 25-year-old Rajendra Bhat, and 20-year-old Hira Sarki from Purchaudi Municipality-9.
