Kathmandu, May 8 -- The four crucial energy junctions have very distinctly emerged in quadrilateral corners of South Asia, where India stands to be the central actor. These junctions are the India-Nepal-China junction in the north; the India-Pakistan-Afghanistan-Iran junction in the west; the India-Sri Lanka-Maldives junction in the south; and, finally, the India-Bhutan-Bangladesh-Myanmar and Southeast Asia junction in the east. These junctions could be further extended to connect with the other regions and sub-continents.
