Kathmandu, Nov. 13 -- Fonepay Payment Service Ltd. has announced a 19 percent cash dividend on its paid-up capital for shareholders and plans to issue shares to the general public.

The announcement was made during the company's 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Kathmandu on Monday. The meeting was chaired by Sashin Joshi, chairman of the Fonepay Board of Directors.

The AGM approved the company's annual financial statements for fiscal year 2024-25, along with the auditor's report, and endorsed several key proposals.

It also reappointed Joshi as Independent Director and confirmed NBSM & Associates, Chartered Accountants, as the auditor for the fiscal year 2025-26.
