Kathmandu, Nov. 6 -- Chandra Prasad Dhakal, president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and honorary consul of Indonesia to Nepal, has been honoured with the Caraka Buwana Award by the Indonesian government. The award, presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, recognises individuals who have significantly contributed to strengthening bilateral relations with Indonesia.

The award was handed over by Heru H. Subolo, the ambassador of Indonesia to Nepal, on behalf of the Indonesian government, during a special ceremony held in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
