Kathmandu, June 14 -- Nepathya performed at Boston's Royal Boston Hall after seven years, as part of their ongoing US tour.
During the show, a fan threw a Nepali flag onto the stage. Lead singer Amrit Gurung respectfully draped it over his shoulders, saying, "Let us always treat our red flag with the moon and sun with honour."
The Boston performance was Nepathya's sixth stop in a seven-city tour that began a month ago in Austin, Texas.
Attendees included young Nepali students and elderly community members. An American fan who drove four and a half hours from Vermont was touched by the performance. "I wish I had learned Nepali to sing with my wife," he said.
