Janakpur, Feb. 1 -- Five Nepali pilgrims lost their lives in a road accident in Muzaffarpur, Indian state of Bihar, on Saturday evening while returning from the Kumbha Mela.
According to District Superintendent of Police Barun Bahadur Singh, the deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Mantarni Devi, 30-year-old Archana Thakur, 60-year-old Balkrishna Jha, 55-year-old Indu Devi, and the driver of the vehicle. They were residents of Dhanusha and Mahottari districts.
