Hetauda, Oct. 2 -- A team of technicians from China recently conducted a field study at Chitlang in Thaha Municipality Ward No. 9, Makwanpur, to construct Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology.

According to Rajendradhoj Joshi, chairman of the university's development committee, a nine-member team surveyed the land in the Takatar area.

On February 2019, a Cabinet meeting endorsed the formation order, after which a committee was formed to set the foundation of Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology in Chitlang. The government has allocated 740 ropanis of land for the establishment of the university.
