Sarlahi, May 2 -- The family of Prisha Sah, a Nepali student found dead in her hostel room at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University in Odisha, India, has left for India.
Sah, a resident of ward 8 of Kabilasi Municipality in Sarlahi district, was discovered dead on Thursday evening in her room on the fourth floor of KIIT's 'Queens Castle-4' hostel. Indian police have secured the site, and an investigation is underway.
"She had spoken to her parents just a day earlier. She was planning to return home on May 18 after her exams," her uncle Kamaldev Prasad Sah said.
