Kathmandu, Jan. 24 -- In September last year, Nepal and Israel signed a labour agreement paving the way for Nepali workers to live and work in the country. As per the understanding between the two governments, Nepali workers will be employed in Israel's caregiving sector, mainly in hospitals, nursing homes, and daycare centres.

After the signing of the framework agreement by Israeli foreign minister Gabi Ashkenazi and Nepali envoy Anjan Shakya in Tel Aviv on September 20, an "Implementation Protocol" was to be signed later to sort out the details of the deal.
