Kathmandu, July 20 -- The Election Commission has released a timeline for the by-election in Rupandehi constituency-3, which is scheduled for November 3.

According to Neeta Pokharel Aryal, spokesperson for the commission, nominations must be filed at the office of the chief returning officer on October 7 from 10am to 5pm. The preliminary list of candidates will be published from 5pm to 7pm the same day.

The commission said complaints about nominations can be submitted until 3pm on October 8, and the final list of candidates will be published after verification by 7pm on October 9.

Candidates may withdraw their names until 1pm on October 10, after which the final list will be published and election symbols will be provided.
