Kailali, Nov. 9 -- Eight people were arrested in Kailali on Saturday for possessing drugs, police said. The arrests were made in a joint operation by the District Police Office Kailali and local police stations.

In Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-13, police detained 23-year-old Pravind Rana, 24-year-old Ghuman Rana, and an 18-year-old minor from Jhalari, recovering 1.08 grams of brown heroin. The arrests were carried out by a joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau office in Dhangadhi and the Kailaligau Police Post.
