Kathmandu, May 29 -- The government has projected Nepal's economy to grow by 4.61 percent in the current fiscal year 2024-25, according to the Economic Survey presented in the Federal Parliament on Thursday.
The size of Nepal's gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated to reach Rs 6.107 trillion, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel said. Of the total GDP, the contribution of the agriculture sector is projected at 25.16 percent, industry at 12.83 percent, and services at 62.01 percent. Per capita gross national income has increased to USD 1,517. The average consumer inflation stands at 4.72 percent.
