Kathmandu, Dec. 12 -- East Bengal FC registered their consecutive win in the 2025 SAFF Women's Club Championship after defeating Karachi City FC 2-0 at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Thursday.
In the first match of the day, East Bengal led early. A ground cross from Fazila Ikwaput found Sulanjana Paul just outside the 18-yard box, and capitalising on it, Paul shot the ball and gave the lead in the fifth minute.
While the Pakistani 2024 National Women Football Championship held the 2024-25 Indian Women's League champions to a goal by the end of the first half, they failed in the second half.
