Gulmi, April 8 -- The remains of a man missing for more than two months were discovered in Gulmi Darbar Rural Municipality, Gulmi, after a dog was seen carrying his skull.
On Monday, the dog was seen with a human skull in its mouth in ward 6 of the municipality. Local ward representative Sundar Kunwar reported the incident to the police.
A police team identified the remains as those of 55-year-old Ratan Shahi, who had been missing for over two months. Authorities later recovered additional body parts and Shahi's clothing on Tuesday during a joint search by locals and police in a nearby community forest.
