Kathmandu, Aug. 8 -- Authorities have extended the custody of 19 people, including gang leader Milan Gurung, known as Chakre Milan, for five more days as police continue their investigation into charges of disrupting public order.

On Friday, the Kathmandu District Administration Office allowed police to hold the suspects further after an initial seven-day remand expired.

The group was among 47 individuals arrested on July 31 from the Sambala Hotel area in Maharajgunj following complaints about their disruptive activities.
