Rautahat, Feb. 23 -- The curfew imposed in parts of Gaur Municipality has been lifted after a peace march was taken out in Sabgadh, ward 6, by local civil society members and political representatives on Monday.
Chief District Officer Dinesh Sagar Bhusal said the curfew was lifted morning following the rally, which marched through the village to promote social harmony and calm. Security personnel from the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force had been deployed since Saturday to maintain order.
