Kathmandu, May 18 -- The Kathmandu District Court has further extended the police custody of controversial medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai by four more days for investigation into his alleged role in inciting violence Tinkune protest on March 28.
A single bench of Judge Harka Bahadur Chhetri granted the extension on Sunday, approving a police request to continue holding Prasai and 26 others, according to court information officer Deepak Kumar Shrestha.
This follows a previous remand issued on May 13, which had given police five additional days to investigate.
