Kathmandu, March 8 -- Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has expressed dissatisfaction publicly against the government's attempt to remove the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director Kulman Ghising from the position.
Thapa's comments came after a Cabinet meeting earlier this week decided to move forward with the process of questioning Ghising. The Minister's repeated efforts to remove Ghising have been met with public criticism from within the ruling party.
During a programme in Sindhuli, Thapa urged the government to refrain from engaging in unnecessary activities such as seeking clarifications from a government employee repeatedly.
