Kathmandu, May 7 -- Cipla Limited, a global pharmaceutical company, has launched an artificial intelligence-powered initiative called "Breathefree 90" in Nepal to support patients with chronic respiratory conditions.

The programme, developed in collaboration with the Nepal Respiratory Society, seeks to improve inhaler adherence through personalised daily reminders and educational support.

The three-month initiative uses a WhatsApp-based chatbot to send patients reminders to take their inhaler medication consistently, along with tips on correct usage and disease management.
