Kathmandu, Jan. 13 -- level delegation of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) is set to visit Kathmandu next week amid a fluid political situation in Nepal.

The three-member delegation will be led by Zheng Youya, director for Nepal Affairs at the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party (IDCPC). The team will be in Nepal for a three-day visit.

This will be the first high-level Chinese political delegation to Nepal since the Gen Z movement. The visit is being viewed as significant at a time when geopolitical contestation in Nepal has intensified.
