Kathmandu, Sept. 8 -- Members of Nepal's Generation Z have taken to the streets on Monday morning to protest against corruption and government restrictions on social media. Their demonstration has drawn support from prominent artists and entertainers.

Actors Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya publicly voiced their support on Facebook, backing the youth-led movement.

Acharya drew attention to the fragility of a recently paved road, questioning why public infrastructure funded by taxpayers fails so quickly.
