Kathmandu, Feb. 2 -- Blue Water Intelligence (BWI) has marked the operational deployment of its hydrological forecasting and early warning services under the HydroNepal Project at an event in Kathmandu.

Launched in February 2025 with support from the French Ministry of Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Sovereignty and funded by FASEP, the project is implemented in partnership with and for the benefit of the Nepal Electricity Authority.

The initiative represents a key collaboration between Nepal and France and brings together expertise from Nepal's water, energy and research sectors.
