Kathmandu, Nov. 22 -- Biratnagar Kings registered their second consecutive win in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) after defeating Kathmandu Gorkhas by five wickets at the TU International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
The Kings comfortably chased the 135-run target in 17.1 overs, becoming the second team after Sudurpaschim Royals to win their opening two matches.
Earlier, Kathmandu, invited to bat first, managed 134 for six in their 20 overs after a faltering start. Mohammad Adil Alam top-scored with an unbeaten 48 off 25 balls, including four fours and two sixes, helping lift the total with a late surge of 63 runs in the final five overs.
