Chitwan, Oct. 31 -- Authorities have advised against non-essential travel on the Narayanghat-Muglin road and Prithvi Highway as continuous rainfall triggers fresh landslides along both routes, the Chitwan District Administration Office said.
Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal said frequent mudslides have been reported since Thursday evening at Tuinkhola on the Narayanghat-Muglin section and between Muglin and Malekhu on the Prithvi Highway. With rain showing no sign of easing, the risk of further landslides has increased, he said.
