Kathmandu, March 9 -- Nepali actress and producer Asha Magrati has been selected as a jury member for the International Feature Film Competition at the 39th Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) in Switzerland. The announcement came yesterday, on International Women's Day, highlighting her contribution to Nepali cinema.
Magrati, known for her roles in films like 'White Sun' and 'Pooja, Sir', will join British cinematographer Derek Hudson and Swiss actress-pianist Anna Pieri Zurcher in the jury panel.
Her latest film, 'Rajagunj', directed by Deepak Rauniyar, is set to release on March 14. This recognition comes ahead of the film's release, where Magrati plays the lead role. Her film 'White Sun' won four awards at the same festival....
