Kathmandu, March 28 -- The last time Nepal Police Club (NPC) lost a game in the Men's PM Cup was back in the fifth edition in November 2022 when they went down to Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) in the tournament's semi-final.
NPC dominated the sixth edition last year winning all nine league games and the final. They also had a perfect start in the seventh edition this year, having won eight consecutive games.
Their remarkable streak broke apart on Thursday in their final league game. Coincidentally, it was again TAC who defeated them after over two years.
With the win, TAC equalled the points with NPC. NPC and TAC both have 16 points by the end of the league structure but NPC remains ahead on net run rate.
