Taplejung, Nov. 11 -- The Armed Police Force, in collaboration with the district security committee and India's Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), carried out an inspection and maintenance operation along the Nepal-India border area in Taplejung district.

The initiative, led by Shivaraj Sedhai, chief district officer of Taplejung, involved personnel from the Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police, who jointly inspected the border pillars and surrounding area to strengthen cross-border security and cooperation. The field inspection covered Sidingwa Rural Municipality-1 and Sirijangha Rural Municipality-8 (Timbung Pokhari) on the Nepali side, extending to Lampokhari in Gyalshing District, Sikkim, on the Indian side.
