Kathmandu, Dec. 9 -- Alina Chaudhary, a naturalist at Barahi Jungle Lodge, has been awarded the TOFTigers Lodge Naturalist of the Year 2024 for her efforts in wildlife conservation, sustainable tourism, and promoting women's roles in the conservation sector.
The award ceremony was held on December 6 at Bikaner House in New Delhi. Among five finalists, Alina stood out as the only female recipient this year, marking a significant milestone in a field traditionally dominated by men, according to a press note issued by the Barahi Jungle Lodge.
