Kathmandu, June 1 -- Air India Express, a Tata Group airline, has launched direct daily flights between Kathmandu and Bengaluru from June 1 marking its official entry into the Nepali aviation market.
According to a press release from the airline, Kathmandu becomes the 17th international destination in its growing network and the first in Nepal.
Bengaluru-widely known as the Silicon Valley of India-is a leading centre for higher education, advanced healthcare, and technology. The service aims to support the growing demand from students, professionals, medical travellers, and tourists from Nepal seeking direct access to India's southern hub.
